As Chief Executive Officer of Impellam Group, North America, David is responsible for the leadership and strategic expansion of the Groups portfolio of Managed Services and Specialist Staffing businesses including: Guidant Group, Corestaff, SRG Woolf, S.Com and Bartech Group. With operations throughout the US, UK and Australia, and more than $6 billion in Client spend under management, UK-based Impellam Group ranks among the largest provider of Talent solutions in the world.
David joined Impellam Group following the 2015 acquisition of privately-held, Bartech Group, Inc. where he served as the company's Chief Operating Officer since 2009 before his promotion to Chief Executive Officer in 2012. Recognized by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) and HRO Today as one of the Staffing industry's most influential executives, he has leveraged process improvement, supply chain, technology and risk mitigation strategies to deliver greater efficiencies, flexibility and control across a broad range of talent solutions globally.
Since 2012, David has served as a Board member of Business Leaders for Michigan, a business roundtable comprised of leaders from the Michigan's largest employers focused on improving the overall competitiveness of the State. He also serves on the National Minority Supplier Development Council's (NMSDC) Board of Directors as well as the organization's Corporate Plus Management Committee dedicated to advocating for increased procurement opportunities for Asian, Black, Hispanic, and Native American businesses in the global corporate supply chain.
David earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan Business School.
As President, Managed Services for Impellam NA which includes leadership of both Guidant Group and Bartech Group brands, Brian is responsible for strategy and service execution for Impellam NA global base of Managed Service clients totaling $4.7 billion in contingent labor, statement of work and services transactions. He maintains operational accountability for the workforce solutions business including implementation, operations and account management.
Brian has led Bartech's Managed Solutions business since 2012 and under his leadership, this business experienced significant top and bottom line growth, service line extensions including: SOW, IC and Payroll Services and geographic expansion to more than 30 countries over the past three years. Bartech has received numerous supplier achievement and excellence awards under his direction.
Brian holds two decades of experience in the workforce management industry. Prior to joining Bartech in 2008, he served as Vice President of Field Operations and Executive Director of strategic accounts for an internationally recognized provider of on-demand services procurement software. In this role, he was responsible for program operations and relationship management at the senior-most levels within the client organization. Brian has previously held positions of progressive management responsibility with a range of large professional staffing companies. Bartech has received numerous supplier achievement and excellence awards under his direction and most recently 2015 SIA Top 5 Vendor Neutral MSP Provider.
Brian is a frequent industry panelist and recurring speaker at Staffing Industry Analysts' Contingent Workforce Strategies conferences. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan.
As Senior Vice President of Staffing Solutions, Kevin is responsible for the oversight and strategic expansion of The Bartech Group's staffing division including expansion of both Bartech's portfolio to new clients and expansion of Bartech's geographical presence. Responsible for Bartech's legacy business, Kevin develops and establishes strong staffing sales and delivery centers across the country, as well as oversees the management and strategic direction of the service line.
Kevin brings with him more than 29 years of experience in the Professional Staffing Services industry.
Kevin is headquartered in Michigan and during his tenure in the industry, has focused on growing start-up businesses in both metro Detroit, as well as the United States, and expanding their number of offices both nationally and internationally.
Kevin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Central Michigan University.
As Senior Vice President of Global Solutions, Karen oversees Bartech’s global sales organization, with a strong emphasis on increasing international revenue for Managed Service Provider (MSP), Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), Staffing and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) offerings. She brings more than 17 years of workforce and contingent labor expertise including extensive experience delivering client-centered solutions for complex organizations. In addition to her wealth of industry knowledge, Karen has the unique ability to uncover clients’ current needs and proactively anticipate and propose solutions for future requirements.
Before joining Bartech in 2015, Karen served as Vice President of National Sales for one of the ten largest firms in the staffing industry. In her previous roles, she was the recipient of top sales awards, including recognition as one of the top 10 producers in the U.S. and a nomination for employee of the year. Karen brings with her experience in enterprise sales strategies, MSP/VMS programs, staffing, solution architecture, market analysis and research and strategic account planning.
Karen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources/Business Administration from Brenau University.
Rebecca Blankenship, Vice President Human Resources, joined Bartech in 1997 and assumed leadership of our Human Resources Department in 2012. Rebecca has been key in the transformation of Bartech’s Human Resources policies to a full service department, which is now accountable for: Talent Acquisition, Benefits Administration, Payroll, Employee Care, Audits and Compliance Services for both Bartech’s Staffing and Managed Solutions business units. Currently, Rebecca is focused on the development of a more robust talent management strategy and further refinement of the company’s culture to solidify Bartech's position as an Employer of Choice.
With over 18 years of experience managing a full spectrum of human resources functions, Rebecca has a proven track record for advancing business performance by creating efficiencies and key business metrics utilized by executives to accomplish big picture initiatives.
Rebecca has been overseeing activities related to both domestic and international employment practices for 3,000+ employees and offers guidance to minimize both client and supplier risk. She is responsible for collaborating with executive leadership in the development and implementation of policies, practices and procedures for the organizations overall growth. Rebecca received her Bachelor of Arts from University of Michigan in Economics, Statistics and Computer Science.
